Metamorphosis: A Live Reading by Halleta Alemu with a Choreographic Performance by Orlando Agawin

A room is given meaning by who and what is brought into it. It is the people who bring life and vibrance into a space.

Metamorphosis honored that notion. It was a gathering and exploration of how a room can be a place of transformation brought to life in collaboration with Off Hours.

The pinnacle of the evening was a powerful live reading by Halleta Alemu from her debut book, 'It Will Start With A Feeling' accompanied by a choreographed performance by Orlando Agawin.

Fig & Oak’s ethereal, refined studio served as the backdrop for the evening of connection and artistry with the focal point surrounding the Soft Frame Designs bed outfitted in Cozy Earth.

Author Halleta Alemu donned the overlay slip dress from Kye Intimates latest release along with the daily triangle bra & the mies brief.

Still moments captured from the performance.

Our talented bartenders Aileen Chacon and Douglas Romero from Maya’s Cart concocted delicious Whiskey Sour’s and Paper Plane cocktails throughout the evening.

The curated menu featured Off Hours Bourbon, a smooth whiskey with hints of vanilla and rich notes of cinnamon.

Guests mingled and connected over light bites and sips from Zuzu and Drink Ghia.
